‘Hoof Putty’ is firm, brown coloured putty. Hoof Putty contains antimicrobial ingredients designed to:

• Treat and prevent Seedy Toe
• Treat and prevent Whiteline Disease
• Fill cavities left from Abscesses and prevent re-infection
• Fill cavities at the bottom of cracks to prevent infection and further weakening of the hoof structures

Instructions for use:

Clean the hoof using a pick, then a clean hoof knife to remove as much debris as possible from the cavity. Use extra care to remove any debris and dead tissue close sensitive areas – if required, seek the assistance of a Farrier to remove the infected tissue.

Using a clean hoof pick or knife, scoop out putty from the container. Press the putty into the cavity, ensuring to apply enough pressure to force the putty into contact with every side of the cavity walls. If required, scoop out more putty to fill the cavity to the level of the surrounding hoof.

Apply once and check weekly. if the putty is not visible reapply at weekly intervals until the hoof as grown out and the cavity no longer exists.
